Dual Honeycomb Shades
This exclusive dual shade feature joins two shades in the middle: light filtering and room darkening. As you adjust the cellular shades up and down, the light changes. Cover the entire window with the light filtering shade, or make it dark by completely covering the window with the room darkening portion. For a balanced atmosphere of both, adjust the shades with some light filtering fabric covering one portion, while the room darkening fabric covers another portion. This can be similar to the top down effect.
Secondary Roller Shade
There are a number of collections that can feature dual shades with a secondary blackout roller shade. The front shade is crafted from light-filtering, or even translucent, fabrics. This front shade is lowered into place most of the time–adjusted up and out of the way for unobstructed light and views. The secondary blackout roller shade is typically lowered down, behind the front shade, increasing light control and eventually blocking it out.
Secondary Honeycomb Shade
Different from the dual shade system for honeycombs, this option is exclusive to the Provenance Woven Woods collection. The front shade is meant for light-filtering, beautiful design. The textured natural fibers invite soft, gorgeous light. But this can leave many homeowners wondering how to control the light–or block out the heat. Adding the secondary honeycomb shade behind the front shade allows you to control the light and heat when you need to. It can be up and out of the way when you want.
