Enjoy light filtering views and room darkening privacy in the same shade system. With Hunter Douglas banded shades, two fabric layers rotate slightly to transform the atmosphere. Experience soft, diffused light to light blocking. Watch as the landscape view gets closed off as privacy becomes the priority. As the position of the fabrics shifts, the look changes with it. You’ll create a dynamic backdrop at the window. Want them up and out of the way? These double roller shades roll up and into the headrail, disappearing from view.

Why Zebra Blinds?
These window shades are sometimes referred to as Zebra Blinds. The original layers in the window covering industry were available in striped patterns. These stripes allow for a shared amount of view-through and blocking, with solids and sheers sharing the fabric layers. Hunter Douglas banded shades offer even more than the original striped fabrics. You can now get geometric patterns to display an artistic scene at the window. With the curved or angled shapes, the view is more limited than the striping of zebra blinds, so it’s important to know how much of your view you’d like to see before deciding.
Banded Shades Patterns
With banded shades, sheer and solid shapes alternate to create a patterned appearance, with versatile function. The sheer shapes bring in diffused light and landscape views. Solid patterning is responsible for privacy and light blocking. You get to decide whether you want the striped look of zebra blinds, or the geometric patterns of curves or angles. The geometric patterns create a display–similar to a feature wall–at the window for a stunning backdrop in your Northeastern Ohio home.
